Role Overview

The Creative Content Associate role involves joining our Editorial, Content Marketing & Brand Creative Team. You will work with multiple partners across design, copywriting, production, and marketing to guide our business, brand and company mission forward. and helping the team find new ways to bring their strategies and stories to life.

This is a hands-on creative specialist role with an opportunity to influence our most visible brand channels. You will have an understanding of existing and prospective audiences as well as category trends. You will help propose content, creative, and messaging that resonates with these audiences. You'll be asked to connect the dots, organize thoughts, and develop plans to match the teams' expectations. We work across the latest platforms, covering web and mobile experiences, visual design, experiential installations, photography, video, motion graphics and animation.

You will originate new and substantive ideas that define a unique perspective to our brand storytelling — you’re aware of and avoid the oversaturated, obvious, and stereotypical tropes. You should be a self-starter and an early adopter with a stable tenacity in the face of ambiguity. Our team exists to tell the best possible stories of our brand, products, and ecosystem so that our business units can excel and grow.

Your focus will be on mostly digital marketing and internal comms, minimal videography and photography, 3D animation, executing the design process including initial requirements definition and conceptualization, as well as development and production of the creative work. This includes contribution to the evolution and improvement of the existing design process. The Creative Content Associate also collaborates with the internal teams to develop a creative strategy. You will be required to work closely with the Creative Lead to establish creative solutions that would attract the audience and enhance the brand's image on market platforms. 

The Creative Content Associate must have excellent technical and critical-thinking skills for utilizing various software tools and applications to generate designs and adjust initial outlines as needed. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Work with partners to lead internal creative processes for content delivery
  • Translate brand strategy into powerful and purposeful creative concepts
  • Use customer and industry data to inspire creative concepts, and content ideas, and work with strategists to validate
  • Foster partnerships with program management and a cross-discipline team of designers, writers, art directors, marketing, and channel partners
  • Champion brand standards and design systems
  • Work with producers, project, and program managers to develop project plans and ensure that projects are progressing and creativity is delivered
  • Deliver outstanding art direction, photography direction, videography direction, design, typography & branding application direction.
  • Support the Digital Marketing team to create email marketing, landing pages, lead acquisition ads, PPC / AdWord campaigns.
  • Support the Digital Marketing team to market Corporate Services products & solutions through multiple channels including internet forums, social media, trade shows, and personal networks.
  • Increase awareness and response, acquisition and sales as well as improve lifetime value and ROI across multiple channels.
  • Employ color, type, illustration, photography, videography, 2D and 3D animation, and various print and layout techniques when designing projects.
  • Produce and art direct digital video and digital photography productions.
  • Provide input and support for the conception and writing of TVCs or documentaries, print, & digital/social advertising.
  • Create and implement YouTube web series that successfully drive traffic and enhance brand awareness for clients.
 

Required Qualifications

  • Creative Concepts
    Expert overseeing the conceptualization, strategic direction, and full development pipeline for traditional and innovative media assets.
  • Graphic Design
    Proficient in sourcing and engaging highly skilled individuals for assignments, such as graphic design, to ensure the deliverable always appears professional.
  • Project Management
    Experienced in collaborating with project/traffic manager to prioritize and assign projects to available resources within project management software and meet company SLA.
  • Adobe Creative Suite
    Demonstrated proficiency in providing comprehensive training to designers on Adobe Creative Suite software, encompassing AfterEffects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Cinema 4D
  • User Interface
    Proficient in crafting user interface designs, comprising icons, screen layouts, and advertisements, to enhance user engagement and visual appeal.

 

Desirable

  • Agency Experience → Previous work experience with a creative agency or freelanced as a creative resource for corporate entities on contract, full-time or retainer
  • Experience translating data and insights into creative content in meaningful ways 
  • A portfolio that showcases applicable work experience
  • ​​Working knowledge/experience or interest in topics related to business, tech, financial, entrepreneurial communities and culture both domestic and international
  • Experience pushing a brand forward with fresh, evolving, creative ideas
  • Understanding of industry trends and today's creative landscape—how users engage with content and trends within the marketing
  • Advanced design and art direction skills that cover multiple creative projects
  • Familiarity with new and traditional brand channels and media
  • Experience partnering with teams of designers, copywriters, program managers and product marketers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
