The Senior Associate, Corporate Services

The Corporate Sales Associate brings Farmerline’s tools and services to clients and

customers region and continent-wide. The role involves building a deep understanding of

Farmerline’s technologies, products, services, and potential tools, translating these to fit

the needs of a diversity of organizations, and closing deals and partnerships for mutual

benefit of Farmerline and its clients. The Associate will be evaluated based on deals

initiated, closed, and successfully managed. A strong Corporate Sales Associate is both a

self-starter and a team player, a strong written and verbal communicator, and passionate

about bringing Farmerline services worldwide.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Research, identify, and build relationships with potential new clients, leveraging avariety of approaches including events, networking, and cold calling
  2. Assist in developing strategies and solutions that meet the needs of potentialclients, and communicating these effectively through proposals and presentations
  3. Turn leads into increased business by closing deals and partnerships for mutualbenefit of Farmerline and its clients
  4. Ensures a seamless transition of customer responsibility to the designatedcustomer success team following a successful implementation
  5. Provide excellent customer service to quickly respond to the needs or challenges ofcurrent and potential clients and partners
  6. Continuously search for opportunities for sales growth by researching newmarkets, communications channels, and strategies

 

Desired Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in any field. Advanced finance and accounting training is an asset
  2. Fluency in English required. Professional proficiency in French is an asset.
  3. Excellent people and relationship-building skills
  4. Effective verbal and written communicator
  5. Self-starter who takes initiative to meet goals and deadlines, create new businessopportunities, and continuously improve individual and team performance
  6. Fast and flexible. Enjoys working in a dynamic, start-up-style environment

Organizational Alignment

  1. Reports to the Head of Corporate Services
  2. Works in collaboration with multiple Business Development team members onvarious projects
  3. Effectively liaises with Farmerline’s tech team, customer success team, andmanagement to create client solutions
