Our Customer Success Associate, Lily Akorfa Keledorme, is among a raft of high profile speakers at this year’s World Aquaculture Society’s Aquaculture Conference and Exhibition in South Africa.
Themed ‘Sustainable Aquaculture – New Frontiers for Economic Growth – Spotlight on Africa’, the conference will see Lily join some 3,000 industry, academic and government delegates from the 100 member countries of the World Aquaculture Society at the CTICC (Cape Town International Convention Centre) in Cape Town.
She will offer her expertise for a session, Information Dissemination and Networking at Cape Town International Convention Centre; Meeting room 1.63 on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at 9:20 am.
Happening for the first time in Africa, the conference and exhibition will have its spotlight on the potential of aquaculture production to support economic development and investment opportunities in the world’s second fastest growing regional economy.
The attendees will go through four days worth of talks on the major issues facing aquaculture including new technologies, new species, marketing techniques, climate change impacts and fish health.Recognised as a strong advocate for the contribution of aquaculture to poverty alleviation and food and nutrition security, Lily expressed excitement at being a speaker at the conference.
